Are you a wine bibber or a word bibber?
“ Are you a wine bibber or a word bibber?
The definition of a wine bibber = A person who drinks much wine:
Matthew 11:18-19 — For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil:
The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous and a winebibber, a friend of the publicans and sinners: But wisdom is justified of her children:
Luke 7:34 — speaks of a wine bibber as one who drinks much wine:
Another definition of a winebibber — A habitual drinker of alcohol, especially wine, an excessive wine drinker or a drunkard:
In my life time I ran across some who were wine bibbers, constantly see them with a glass of or a bottle of wine in front of them: Some did not use a glass but had a bottle sitting in front of them:
The winebibber’s speech was slurred, their eyes red and blurry:
The wine bibbers I knew could not hold down a job! When they got a job, they would work until lunch time, then would not show up for the rest of the day, but were found in a bar drunk:
Their entire family and close friends would suffer due too this habit or better choice of speaking — a way of life:
To the winebibber — they just had to have a drink or they would die: That is the devils way of keeping them under the influence of alcohol:
Their family suffered in many ways: 1) Not enough money brought in to survive on because they would not work or get fired, leaving the family to lose everything:
2) Because of drunkenness, they were mean with their spouse and children and would have to move often, because they could not pay their rent or have lights turned off because they had no money to pay the bill:
3) The spouse and children did without a lot of stuff including food, clothing, baby formula etc. All because the money went to support the winebibber’s habit:
Well, enough on that:
What is the definition of a word bibber?
A word bibber is one who loves the word of God and spends time in the word and in prayer:
A word bibber is one who provides adequately for their family:
A word bibber is one who works hard to supply what the family needs:
A word bibber has and instructs their family in the word of God and demonstrates how to live abundantly:
The bottom line is — a word bibber lives a blessed life:
The family is blessed and serving God:
Love flows throughout the entire family:
The word of God becomes the most important thing for the entire family which will cross over into their friends and relatives:
In my personal life — my parents were not winebibbers but word bibbers: My Mother and Dad lived the word (the best they knew how) in-front of us kids and around friends and relatives:
My Dad had a good job and kept it: The reason why I am able to write these things to you is because my parents were word bibbers:
Dad would take us across state lines just to hear the word of God: That is a word bibber:
So, lastly — Be a word bibber and not a wine bibber:
REMEMBER: JESUS IS LORD!
