BE FLOODED WITH THE PRESENCE OF GOD!
Be flooded with the presence of God is not something that should be a here one day and gone the next day kind of flow with God:
Being flooded with the presence of God, is when you are so full of God, you spill over like a river or a lake that overflows: When either of these overflow, the water just gushes down a gully and fills up a stream below and if the stream below, becomes full enough it will run over and everyone that is around that area can see that overflow.
Now an overflow of water can over-take you if you fall into the path of the over-flow: The same way with the over-flow of Gods Spirit, it will over-take anyone who falls into that overflow stream.
In the natural water overflow, if you fall in you could be drowned and die, but with the overflow of the Spirit of God, you can drown but you will not die physically, but you will die to self and selfish things:
Another analogy is with the overflow of natural water, the land, trees, and plants below the overflow will benefit and flourish from it:
In the Spirit realm, when you overflow with the presence of God, anyone around you will benefit from that overflow: In order to benefit from a Spiritual overflow, you must drink from that overflow: In the natural, the plants, flowers, trees and grass will benefit from the natural overflow as well by drinking from it:
I believe these are good analogies of what happens in the natural and what happens in the Spiritual when you fall into an overflow, however as I was stating above, one overflow will kill you, but the other overflow will bless you:
We need to not only be so full of the Holy Spirit that we flow over to others, but to stay in that overflow realm:
In a natural overflow, it brings nourishment to plants, trees, grass that is anywhere near that overflow: Well, as I said before, as you stay close to a Spiritual overflow, you will benefit from it as well:
You might ask, where do I find a Spiritual overflow?
1) Get involved with a church that is so full of the Holy Ghost that it creates an overflow, then don’t sit there like a bump on a log, get up and get into that overflow:
2) Get involved with a group of hungry, thirsty people who are thirsty for a move of the Spirit of God: This may happen in a home bible study or in a home prayer group: It can also happen just with your family members who come to visit with the same Spirit of God in them: As you are visiting, the Holy Spirit can move the visit into a time of overflow of the Spirit of God:
3) Start by lifting your hands and praising God, using your mouth to drink in that which comes from that overflow:
4) Here is another analogy – In the natural overflow of water you can cup your hands together and drink the natural overflow with the water that fills those hands that are cupped: In the Spiritual, you can take your spiritual hands or mouth, and cup them together and drink form that flow.
A lot of times when someone is asked how was church you either hear it was great, there was a great move of the Spirit of God, people were set free and healed: Or you hear, oh it was okay, you know how church goes!
Church is what you make it to be: A lot of preachers are blamed for a dead service, when it may not be their fault:
They could have done everything they could, to bring a good service, but if the congregation does not draw from that anointing, the service can seem dead and dry:
One thing I see and hear, are cell-phones going off in a service and look over toward where that sound came from and see someone texting: When you do this, you are pulling away from a possible overflow from the Spirit of God:
The only ones that will benefit are the ones who cup their spiritual hands together and drink:
To many times, the minister and praise and worship people get the blame for a dead church service and this could happen, but if the audience chips in by doing their part, the service could turn around and people will leave saying, wasn’t that a good service, wasn’t the minister on fire today, wow! I was blessed by today’s service:
Another way we can cause the overflow in your church is by you praying in the spirit while getting dressed or while driving to church:
“Those who are prayed up are those who fill up”
