HEBREWS 4:1-3
THE WORD NEEDS TO BE MIXED WITH FAITH IN ORDER TO WORK:
YOU MUST ENTER INTO REST FOR FAITH TO WORK:
YOU MUST HAVE PEACE TO BE IN FAITH:
YOU CANNOT WORRY:
Verse 1: --- Let us therefore fear, a promise being left of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
Verse 2: --- For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
Verse 3: --- For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
Here in these scriptures, I want to zero in on the phrase, “Entering into a rest: “
In Genesis 2:2 --- (Talking about God himself) and on the seventh day, God ended his work which he had made; and rested on the seventh day from his work which he had made:
Here we see that God rested after he Spoke the world into existence: This word rest does not mean to relax because he worked so hard, but in this scripture and in Hebrews 4: 1-3 ,it means he was in peace and satisfaction or he was pleased at what was created: You see, Jesus did not use a hammer, saw or any other piece of equipment to create the world: He used words mixed with faith:
In Hebrews 4: 1&2 --- He is not telling us to rest because we worked so hard at working on our faith project:
Faith is and should be done in peace without frustration, worry or fretting wondering if it will work or not:
Faith should always be done in peace, knowing that if we are in faith, we can be in peace knowing that we have whatever we are asking for, before we see it:
Do you see what I am saying? Faith is a knowing and a trust that it is already done or completed the moment we asked and said Amen:
Once you pray in faith asking, you should not be wringing your hands saying, “I hope it comes or I hope he (God) hears me:
If you are asking in faith, and according to the word of God, you should be at peace or rest that he will do what he said he would do:
In Mathew 17:20 --- And Jesus said unto them, because of your unbelief, for verily I say unto you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you:
In the scriptures above, do you see anything that says or is applied, we should struggle, wine, or complain, or get all sweaty until it happens? No! He that fails to receive is because of unbelief: He also does not say, if you have big enough faith! No, he made it small faith: He said as large as a mustard seed! A mustard seed is pretty small:
In my own life, as I look back, I can totally understand why I did not receive what I was asking for: I was looking for the immediate to happen: I was wanting to see it right then with my natural eyes: But, real faith is a knowing that you already have it, even though you don’t see it, feel it or grab it with your hands:
Faith is a knowing that if God said you can have what you say, then you have it: There is no pleading or begging in the walk of faith:
Another point: It is according to your faith! Not someone else’s or because the preacher read a scripture, but because you believe it in your heart (spirit):
I brought out several scriptures in a previous writing that in several scriptures people received what they asked for because of what Jesus said, “According to your faith, be it unto you:”
Back to what I said at the beginning, faith is a rest or you are in peace knowing:
We must settle it inside of us, if God said we can have it, then it shall be exactly as he said:
Time cannot be a factor: Feelings cannot be a factor: what someone else says, cannot be a factor: Pain cannot be a factor: Little or no money cannot be a factor:
Again, faith is a knowing, it is a rest: A peace that you already have it before you see it or feel it:
Faith is also a now thing: You must believe you have it now and not when you see it or feel it:
Remember: “Jesus is Lord!”

I declare that I will not get “all sweaty” while patiently believing I have received! :)
