If we only knew who we are in Christ!
What a World of Change that would be!
Romans 5:18-21 KJV
Therefore as by the offense of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Moreover the law entered, that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: that as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:1-20 KJV
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us who were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like Christ who was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in the newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered to you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.”
Romans 6:1-20 — By the offense of one, judgment came upon all mankind:
This was done in and through the sin of obedience of the forest man and woman — Adam and Eve:
Because of their sin and disobedience this sin was laid upon all of man-kind:
We humans all came from Adam and Eve, (as far as our flesh bodies), so because of their disobedience, this same sin was passed down from one generation to another:
Sin entered into this world because of their disobedience: God told them not to eat of a certain fruit, but they ate of it — First Eve, then she gave it to Adam and he ate of the fruit of unrighteousness which stemmed from disobedience:
You see, Adam was created first and was instructed by God, not to eat of the tree of unrighteousness, but he failed to tell Eve and she ate of it and then God Adam to do what she said and he ate:
Disobedience came from listening to the words of Satan, which is still true to this day: Our disobedience comes by us disobeying God’s word and commands of instruction:
Satan was then and still is a deceiver, he deceived Eve and he deceives us today!
The bible in Hebrews 13:8 says that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever: well, satan (the devil) is the same yesterday today and forever:
He will continue to deceive human beings until he is cst into the lake of fire:
If God is righteous forever, satan is unrighteous and evil forever:
Our part of life on earth is to become more and more like Jesus and through that, we will overcome all of the enemies tactics:
Negative thoughts come through our carnal minds, so we must train ourselves to listen more to our God/word renewed spirits, so that our minds will renew to the truth of the word of God, instead of the enemy:
Sin keeps us from obeying God: Sin is what caused Adam and Eve to fall into disobedience:
The more you sin, the further from God you will be: (Not that he leaves you — no, he will never leave you but you can’t hear his voice when you are away from him:
The more you sin, the further from God you will be: No, you will not lose your salvation, but you will act and talk like you did:
Disobedience puts a space between us and God, to the point that we can get to the place that we hear more negative than we do positive:
The negative comes from the devil, not God: We must remember that Jesus is Lord and that our minds can be and should be renewed to the word of God:
Romans 6:1-20 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid!
The scripture goes on to say — Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death (spiritual death) that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father; even so we also should walk in the newness of life:
The bottom line is — that when we are born again, we should pattern our lives after him in all that we do: This should be daily — not every now and then, but daily:
Remember — When Jesus was raised from the dead, so was man-kind: All we need to do is receive him as our Lord and Saviour; repent of our sins and live as the word of God instructs us too:
Don’t let sin rule us, if we sin, simply repent and ask God for forgiveness and go on serving him:
Don’t listen to the lies of the enemy, but use your mouth and tell him to get!
REMEMBER: JESUS IS LORD!
