Joy

Updated: Oct 14, 2022

I have found His grace is all complete,

He supplieth every need:

While I sit and learn at Jesus feet,

I am free, yes, free indeed.

It is joy unspeakable and full of glory,

Full of glory, Full of glory;

It is joy unspeakable and full of glory, Oh, the half has never yet been told.

I have found the pleasure I once craved,

It is joy and peace within;

What a wondrous blessing, I am saved

From the awful gulf of sin.

I have found that hope so bright and clear,

Living in the realm of grace;

Oh, the Savior’s presence is so near,

I can see His smiling face,

I have found the joy no tongue can tell,

How its waves of glory roll;

It is like a great o’erflowing well,

Springing up within my soul.

Do you have a joy inside of you since you made Jesus Lord? Do you feel complete within?

I know at times in my life I don’t feel joy, I don’t feel happiness, I don’t feel him

( God’s Spirit) within:

I have to get a grip on myself and talk to myself and say, “Get a grip!”

A lot of times we get so muddled up with the natural things going on in our life and around us and we let the word of God lay dormant or we let praise lay quietly or we put prayer aside and get busy with the natural:

One thing we know is this, because we are both spiritual and natural, we can bounce back and forth between them both, but my question is, which one is more prominent in our lives?

Yes, we have to pay attention to the natural, because we have physical bodies and we live in a physical world, but we must learn balance. We cannot afford to let go of either:

Spiritual food is very important to our spirits which are alive in God as well as physical foods nourish our bodies.

Do you know that you can pray in the spirit while doing you housework or while you are on the job:

You can sing songs of praise while doing your job or doing natural things: If you work in a place that does not allow you to sing out loud or mutter scripture out loud, then sing or praise quietly:

The bottom line here is that no one can stop you from rejoicing even if you have to mutter it quietly:

When the song says, It is joy unspeakable and full of glory, it means that there is a joy that natural man or words cannot explain the feeling that comes while speaking praise:

This joy, if done properly, however will show up on your face expressions: You maybe speaking the word of God quietly or singing praises to God and without you knowing it, it shows something is going on when others see you: They may ask, why are you so joyful? Why do you seem so happy? Why do I feel a joyful presence when I am around you?

These are, rather you realize it or not, signs to others that you have something they don’t have: It can and will open a door for you to minister the word to them or pray for them: It may be a door that will open and get them to pray the prayer of salvation:

It may be a door that will open and give you the honor to pray a healing of their natural body on them:

This joy is very much unspeakable, in the fact that in the natural, you cannot explain:

Have you ever been around a minister or a Christian and felt a sweetness coming out of them and they are not even talking or saying a word:

My pastor, David Ingles, has this in him: If you get anywhere close to him, you feel the presence of God emanating from him: He is so full of the Holy Spirit that as he passes by, you can feel God’s presence

That presence talks to me when he passes by yet he may not even say a word in the natural, but you can tell he has been with God:

On the other hand, I been around other ministers that the presence around them feels like a lead brick:

The lead brick feeling does not mean that person is not born again or have the holy spirit in their lives: It means the spirit of God is not emanating from them why? Because they haven’t been spending time with the spirit of God:

They are not letting the joy of the Lord to come forth: They maybe dwelling on the natural things more than the supernatural: That is another way of explaining how the joy of the Lord is your strength when the presence of God oozes out of you or in another words, flowing like a river out of you. That kind of spirit can be felt as a person walks by or stops and says something to you: Or they may not even say a word, but the presence of God just oozes out of them:

The presence of the Lord will heal, set you free from addiction or some other ailment.

We need to get ourselves to the place that others see and feel the presence of the Spirit of God on us:

You can be at Walmart minding your natural business shopping and the presence of God will be felt by someone who walked by you or come by to talk to you:

This teaching is as much for me as it is for others: Sometimes I get bogged down in the natural and don’t spend time with God as I should, and it shows in my speech:

LET’S BE THE ONE THAT THE JOY OF THE LORD OOZES OUT OF US AS WE WALK BY SOMEONE. WHO KNOWS, YOU MAY BE JUST WHAT THEY WERE LOOKING FOR AND GET SET FREE:

REMEMBER: JESUS IS LORD!
