PRAISE GOD IN EVERYTHING!

“PRAISE GOD IN EVERYTHING”

This phrase has been so mis-understood, it says, praise God in everything, not for everything!

I have heard, over the years, people I worked with or around me stump their toe or get a cut etc.

These people would say, thank Jesus, or praise Jesus, in such a way as to thank Jesus for causing them to get hurt in some way, or they would get sick and say, well, he made me sick I guess he is trying to teach me something!

No, all hurts are either because we did something stupid or we did not watch where we were going etc.

No where in the word of God, does it say, praise me for everything: What we are to do is praise him and thank him in any situation: The word in is the key phrase and the correct word:

In other words, in any situation, an accident, a fall, a broken leg and so-forth, we should praise him in that situation and say thing for example like --- I have hurt my leg or broke my arm, but even tho I may have been the one that caused this broken arm, I praise God that he kept me from hurting my self more and praise him that by Jesus stripes, I am healed:

You see, that is giving him praise in the situation, not for the situation:

God and Jesus are loving and kind, they do nothing nor would do nothing to hurt you to teach you a lesson or something:

Think about it --- If you had a daughter fall and break her leg over the fact that she tripped over a toy and say, “Praise you Jesus, you caused her to fall over that toy to teach her a lesson. Or would you have said to your Son, thanks for leaving that toy on the floor for your sister to trip over and break her leg! No, you would not have, you would simply, load her up in the car and take her to the hospital to put a cast on it so it would get better:

With that all said, why do people praise God for a fall or an accident in order to teach us something or better yet, he (God ) caused this to happen because he saw something worse ahead of us and wanted us to be stopped so we would not have that accident or something worse? He didn’t!

Now, because God loves you, he may warn you not to do something or go a certain way, but when you refuse to listen to him and you go that way instead of stopping, who is actually at fault?

In the natural, if you tell your son or daughter not to do something because they could get hurt and they do it anyway, who’s fault is it, yours or theirs?

If you are loving parents, you would not even think of hurting your child and yet we blame God for hurting us, when he loves us so much more than any human could love:

Just like in the natural, we ignore the prompting of God or the Holy Spirit and do what we want to do and hope nothing goes wrong.

God is the all-seeing God; he can see things in your future that would hurt you and he spends the love and the time to warn you: (Listen to Him):

When negative things happen, stop, and praise him that you are healed or praise him for keeping the situation from hurting you more or taking your life!

God is a good God; he is a good Father: He is watching over us day and night, he never slumbers or sleeps:

Let us be good children and trust him that he will never let us down: He is not out to get us, he watches over us and gives his beloved sleep: Psalms 127: 2 --- It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows; for so He giveth His beloved sleep:

So, if he watches you day and night , why would he cause you to get hurt? If he give you sleep, meaning rest, why would he hurt you?

Bottom line --- It is not God’s fault when you get hurt! Take a look at yourself and see where you made the mistake or where you ignored the promptings of the Holy Spirit: Ask forgiveness, receive you healing and go on: Give thanks to God in or during any situation, but not for the situation:
