“ PRAISE IS THE CATALYST THAT ACTIVATES FAITH.”
The word catalyst means --- It is a noun which means a substance that increases the rate of a chemical reaction and without itself undergoing any permanent chemical change.
I like to think of the word catalyst being a chemical or substance that may harden the existing product such as bondo. Bondo won’t hold together unless you put a catalyst mixed into it. When you do, then the product dries hard and will fix the issue at hand. It changes the material from being a soft putty to become hard:
As with the word of God, we find out that our words become the catalyst that causes God’s word to stick or work or not:
Here our words are put together in the form of speaking or giving vocal praise to God:
The word of God sitting on the shelf will do nothing but collect dust: The word on the shelf will not move the mountains in your life or cause healing or even salvation to come:
Your eyes, ears and mouth are gateways to causing Gods word to be activated. They are the catalyst!
Through these gates your eyes and words become the catalyst to move the mountain out of the way: The mountain might be, rejecting Christ as your savior, or The mountain could be financial: The mountain could be a sickness or a disease.
Whatever the mountain is, it will not move until you see and understand by the word of God, how to move the mountain:
Once you speak God’s word and see it or hear yourself speak what the word says and that will cause the catalyst to mix and cause the word to come to pass:
Even in the natural, you have to speak things or call things for them to come: Charles Capps, a minister of faith filled words said, “If you want the dog to come to you, you don’t say, here kitty, kitty, kitty. You call the dog by name! if you want the dog, but keep calling the cat instead, you will continue to have the cat show up: If you call the dog long enough, the dog will show up: You see, the dog won’t come automatically just because the dog is in the room or out in the field, running around: This is why you name the dog, you call the dog by name:
As we look all through the bible, we see people who got what they wanted and others did not, or they kept what they had, because the were not calling what they wanted.
How many of us have, now or in the past, been sick and instead of saying, “I am healed by the stripes of Jesus, kept saying I am so sick: I don’t know why I am so sick: I don’t know why God’s word don’t work for me or heal me: I read in the bible about all those who were healed, so I guess that healing passed away; or I guess it is not God’s will to heal me:
No, if it was printed in the word of God and has worked for people in the day Jesus walked the earth, it still will work today!
Recondition your speech! The word recondition means --- Condition again or overhaul or renovate as with a vehicle engine or a piece of equipment:
We need to recondition our speech and speak what God’s word says instead of how we feel!
Your mouth is the catalyst to either continue having what you already have or your mouth that speaks the word of God says you have:
Kenneth E. Hagin taught on this and has a mini book, called “You can have what you say”. You need to pick one up and study it over and over until you recondition your speech to say what the word says, instead of how you feel or what you see:
Changing your words to be in agreement with the word of God, instead of how you feel or what you presently see will be the catalyst that will bring your desire to come to pass: Don’t call the dog by calling the cat and then say, well I guess the dog don’t want to come, so I will be satisfied with the cat! No, call the dog and not the cat!
You might say, if I say that I am healed or I am rich is lying if I have no money in my pocket or bank account: Well, calling the cat when you want the dog is lying because you really want the dog:
Your words positive or negative, will have and does have a lot to do with your present situation and your future:
Again, look in the word, and notice how many got what they desired, by changing what they saw or felt.
Take the story about washing in the pool of Siloam! Look and read John 9: 7 and said unto him, (Jesus said) Go wash in the pool of siloam (which is being interpretation means, sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came up seeing:
What would have happened if he said, “What good is that, I am blind and washing in a pool won’t heal my eyes: He would have remained blind! Obedience is another step to receiving, simply do what the word tells you!
No, he did not question the instructions, he just went and did what he was told to do. We need to be that way and simply do what we are told to do:
How many found out as a child growing up doing what Mom and Dad says was better than continuing to do what we wanted to do instead?
REMEMBER: JESUS IS LORD!
