“NOTHING BUT THE BLOOD”.

Verse 1 --- What can wash away my sins? Nothing but the blood of Jesus; What can make me whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Verse 2 --- For my Pardon this I see, nothing but the blood of Jesus; For my cleansing, this my plea, nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Verse 3 --- Nothing for sin a-tone, nothing but the blood of Jesus; naught of good that I have done, nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Verse 4 --- This is all my hope and peace, nothing but the blood of Jesus; This is all my righteousness, nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Chorus --- Oh! Precious is the flow, that makes me white as snow; no other fount I know, nothing but the blood of Jesus.
You see, it is only through or by the blood of Jesus that we receive life, health, and prosperity:
In the blood of Jesus that was shed for us on the cross, is much more than salvation: Salvation is great and wonderful, for without it we would spend eternity in hell: Because of salvation; we receive healing for our spirit: soul (mind) and for our bodies:
The blood as I said before, bought us salvation; healing; total restoration of our spirit; soul and body:
The blood of Jesus guarantees us a permanent home with Jesus Christ: Just thinking about that is a lot to wrap ourselves and our minds around:
Sometime, it is mind boggling, but we don’t communicate with God through our minds: We communicate with him through,
#1 The word (Bible)
#2 Through prayer and petitions:
#3 Through praise
God the Father looks forward and to seeing us and hearing us pray, read his word and praise him.
#4 Through faith in him and his word, we must trust wholly that he says will come to pass: These things need to be done daily:
The mind cannot imagine what Jesus went through in his death, burial and resurrection: That’s why we must have faith: Faith is the key to receiving anything from God, for without it he does not hear us: In fact, nothing will work without faith:
Let’s look again at this song and see what the blood has already completed for us and waiting for us to receive it:
A) What can wash away my sins? - Nothing but the blood of Jesus: What can make me whole again – Nothing but the blood of Jesus:
B) For my pardon, this I see - Nothing but the blood of Jesus: For my cleansing this my plea, - Nothing but the blood of Jesus:
C) Nothing can for sin atone: - Nothing but the blood of Jesus: Naught of good that I have done, - Nothing but the blood of Jesus:
D) This is all my hope and peace, - Nothing but the blood of Jesus: This is all my righteousness, - Nothing but the blood of Jesus:
Everything we receive from Jesus is through faith in the blood and the word of Jesus:
Jesus bought and saved us from going to hell, all by the shedding of his blood, for without it, there would be no remission of sin:
Now, let us look at the chorus: Oh! Precious is the flow that makes me white as snow; No other fount I know, Nothing but the blood of Jesus:
You see, because of the blood, Jesus does not see our sins; He looks at everyone, who made Jesus Lord through the blood: He will not condemn us because of sin: Your own conscious will do that for you: Now, this does not mean that you can sin and get away from it, but Jesus does not condemn you for it! You need to make the choice to cleans and remove the sin by asking for forgiveness and he is faithful to forgive.
You do not have to go through the process of being born again daily; You go through the salvation process once and remain born again, because of the blood: Thank goodness for the blood!
You are cleansed forever, all you do, when you sin or make a mistake, is say, heavenly father or Jesus, I repent for my sins and mean it with your heart (spirit): That is all there is to it, it is all taken care of right at that moment:
In fact, if you would listen, he would say, “What sin”? He also said in Hebrews 10: 16 & 17 --- (Young's
literal translation) This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the lord, giving my laws on their hearts, and upon their minds, I will write them, and their sins and their lawlessness, I will remember no more:
In 1 Corinthians 5: 16&17, Paul says, wherefore, henceforth, know we no man after the flesh, Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, old things are passed away, behold, all things are become new.”
You see, you are not trying to be saved, and righteous, you are right now, in Christ Jesus:
Romans 10:9&10 --- That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth, that Jesus is the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved:
The same life that is in Christ, the life of heaven, and the same life that raised Christ from the dead is the same life that is in you! So, perfect is the reconciliation, and so, really has sin been covered and blotted out, that he who believes in Christ is looked upon and treated by God, as entirely righteous: The acquittal that he has received from God, is so complete that there is nothing, absolutely nothing, to prevent him from approaching God with the utmost freedom: (Quote from: Andrew Murray).
God’s love for man-kind is so great and so vast that the human mind cannot grasp it: You must grasp it by your spirit, and you do that through prayer and study of the word of God.
Get to know him, and he will reveal himself to you in an amazing way!
All of this is completed through the blood of Jesus, not by our own works or pleading, but by simply talking to him, just as easy as talking to your closest friend, because he is your best friend as well as your savior:
If you are reading this and you have yet made Jesus Lord of your life, just say this and mean it from your heart and know that you are born again. Don’t look for a feeling, but no from your heart that you made Jesus Lord.
HEAVENLY FATHER, I ADMIT TO YOU THIS DAY, THAT I AM A SINNER AND TIRED OF THE WAY I LIVE, I ACCEPT IN MY HEART (SPIRIT) THAT JESUS IS Lord AND SAVIOR, SO I SAY OUT-LOUD, JESUS, I MAKE YOU LORD OF MY LIFE THIS DAY. YOUR LIFE BECOMES MY LIFE AND THEREFORE I BELIEVE IN MY HEART THAT I AM BORN AGAIN:
If you said the above and believe it in your heart you are now born.
Praise the Lord! Now study his word and get to know him better.
