ARE THEY CONSISTENT?
What you say is what your faith believes and speaks: A lot of times we ask ministers or someone in the word, why our faith in the word, or why the word is not working for us?
We need to go back to one of my previous teachings about planting seeds. I do a garden every spring, I plant tomatoes, bell peppers, banana peppers, onions, green beans, kale, and do you know what comes up? “Everything I planted!”
This year is no different, I planted onions, green beans, tomatoes, bell peppers and guess what, --- They are all out of the ground, growing bigger and bigger every day: But one thing I don’t do is dig up my seeds every day to see if they are growing.
I don’t go out there two days after I planted the seeds and say, where are my plants? I do not see anything! I don’t say, Oh well, I guess I will plant them again and I don’t go and get the tiller out and dig up the ground, because they haven’t popped out of the ground yet!
No, I realize it takes time for the seeds to germinate and the plants to grow and push their way through the soil: So, what do I do when I don’t see anything? I clean the weeds (garbage) out from around that area so they can have all of the space and nourishment they need to grow and produce a harvest:
I keep feeding food to them and water them until they spout and the plants pop through the ground: Guess what? I don’t stop there, I keep feeding, watering and keeping the garbage (weeds) out:
This is what you must do with your words you plant in the soil of your faith garden: you must speak with your mouth, what the bible says over and over and over: You must take your faith rototiller, (Prayer and Speaking faith filled words) everyday to your faith garden:
You must speak the word of God out of your mouth which is from your spiritual heart:
However, Just like a natural garden, you cannot keep the weeds out without proper tools!
Note: Just like a natural garden, weeds will come and grow in the walk of faith, weeds will come and try to choke out the word!
In the natural garden, you need a rototiller or plow, you need a hoe, you need a hose or a source of water, you need a good batch of fertilizer:
Just like a natural garden, so does a spiritual faith garden, it takes a lot of work to get the plants (what you desire) to grow and it takes the word of God to cause your faith to grow:
You cannot be diligent one day and be lazy the next day, or the enemy (spiritual weeds) will take over:
You must realize there is a real devil full of weeds and toxic items out there that is planting weeds (bad words) (bad thoughts), he’ll even have a friend, or someone stop by and say discouraging things to you:
What is the devil doing? He is trying to dig up your faith and come in and plant doubt seeds: He is a sly old fox: He will use a family member or a close friend to tell you that your faith is not working: Know this, the enemy must use your mouth to tear out your faith seeds. He has no ability otherwise but through you own mouth. It is not destroyed by someone else’s words, but by your words.
He will wake you up at night and whisper, “You will not have what you say or desire of God.” “You will not have nor can you have what you say.” “Look, do you see anything different today than what you saw yesterday?”
Well, when that happens, bounce back and say, “I am not moved by what I see or don’t see.” “I am only moved by what God said in his word.”
Say, devil, you cannot nor will you destroy my crop!”
Say to the devil, you are an intruder and you must leave now in Jesus name: Then keep speaking the word:
Matthew 13: 22 --- He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word, and the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful:
Matthew 13:38 --- The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one:
Mark 4:19 --- And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and lusts of other things, entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful:
The above are scriptures that show you what the enemy uses to tear down your faith: He will use words of doubt: He will have you look with your eyes and ask; do you see anything? He may ask, do you feel better today, than you did yesterday? Did you even pay one bill off yet?
This is where you need to get into the scriptures (which is spiritual food and feed and water) and speak God’s word out of your mouth instead of agreeing with what you see and then give up!
In the natural garden, if I gave up when I did not see the seeds, I planted growing and so take the tiller through the ground and dig it up again, I would not get anything:
Rather you realize it or not, your mouth is both the tiller and the seed planter. Both are needed but they need to be used properly and at the correct time.
Consistent faith is the answer: Constantly speaking the word is the answer: Using the word of God to tear out the weeds or the negative talk is the answer:
Do as the centurion did in Matthew 8:8 --- The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof but speak the word only and my servant shall be healed:
Notice, he said “speak the word only!”
Speaking the word is the answer to any of our problem: Speaking the word will make both spiritual and natural gardens grow:
“Keep speaking!”
Remember: Jesus is Lord!
