THERE IS A NAME!
Verse 1: There is a name I love to hear, I love to sing its worth: It sounds like music in my ear, the sweetest name on earth.
Verse 2: It tells of a Saviors love, who died to set me free; It tells me of his precious blood, the sinner’s perfect plea.
Verse 3: It tells me what my Father hath in store for every day, and though I tread a darksome path, yields sunshine all the way:
Verse 4: It tells of whose loving heart can feel my deepest woe, who in each sorrow bares a part, That none can bare below.
Chorus: Oh, how I love Jesus, Oh, how I love Jesus, oh how I love Jesus, because he first loved me!
Jesus is His name; As I walk this road of life, there is one who knows each care; just when I need Him, He is there. He can meet my deepest need, thru faith in Him, I have been freed; How I love this friend divine, since I am His and He is mine. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus is His name. Jesus, Jesus, every day the same, Jesus Name – That dries my tears; Jesus’ name that calms my fears, Jesus savior my King of all Kings, Jesus, the Name my heart sings.
We must get to know Jesus so well, that when you speak, the devil does not come around: You need to be at the place, that when you wake up in the morning, the devil runs in fear and says, Oh! No! he or she is up again!
Satan is a liar and is one that can bluff you into believing he has power over you and your family:
Jesus defeated him at Calvary, but because the devil is a liar and a deceiver, he will try to con you in believing whatever he whispers in your ear:
God, through Jesus, gave you and me the authority over him: We need to use the authority he gave us every day:
There is no other name that is as important as the name of Jesus: The name of Jesus is bigger than poverty, sickness or anything else the devil lies to you about: When you hear the voice telling you that you are not saved, that you are not healed, that you are going to hell, speak out-loud and say, “No devil, I am a born again child of God: I have God in me! I am filled with his Spirit and he is watching over me and guiding me in all I do:
I would highly suggest that you go to a book store or on line, and pick up the book called, the authority of the believer by Kenneth E. Hagin: Read it out-loud over and over until you get it inside of you, then read it over and over again: Also, highlight all of the scriptures in the book and then look them up in your Bible and highlight them again: Keep referring back too this book when doubt tries to set in: You might want to carry it with you and read it out-loud to the devil:
It is so important to understand what is all in the name of Jesus! You would be surprised to know how many Christians that do not know what their authority over the devil is or how to take the authority over him:
I will also tell you that, even though, at this time, you may not know your authority over the enemy, but if you speak the name of Jesus over the enemy or situation, he has to flee: The devil and all of his imps are more afraid of that name than you realize:
You see, when Jesus died on the cross and arose again, he gave this authority and his name to use that name over the enemy:
Another book about our authority is a mini- book written by Dr. Billye Brim, called “The authority of the believer and how to use it: I recommend this one as well! She said, “as a result of my studies, I concluded that we as a church have authority on the earth that we’ve never yet realized – authority that we are not using:
Luke 10:19 --- Behold, I give unto you power (exousia) to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power (Dunamis) of the enemy; and nothing by any means will hurt you:
Matthew 28:18 --- And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power (exousia) is given unto me in heaven and in earth:
Matthew 28:19 --- Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father; and of the Son; and of the Holy Ghost:
Matthew 28:20 --- Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and low, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world: Amen!
These are just a few of the scriptures to show you the authority that we have in his name:
I also want to say, it is only through the name of Jesus, that you have this authority:
If you try to use authority in any other name or way, you are wasting your time:
Take and use your God given authority in his name!
