TRUTH OR NOT, THAT IS THE QUESTION:
Get your eyes off of the things that are not true, sometimes we find ourselves swallowing everything that people say:
To many times, and more than we realize, we Judge our faith and the word of God by what we see and hear in the natural:
I am not saying that what is going on in the natural is not true, but most of the time listen to much to the news or what others say, instead of what the word of God says or the real truth:
We focus our eyes on what we see in the natural instead of focusing on what God says:
Some of the things people say are repeats of what others have said which was passed down from one person to another: Sometimes that is called gossip:
This action reminds me of a game we played as a child: We would gather around in a group, someone would whisper a sentence into the ear of the one they sat next too, then that person was to repeat what they heard to the next one in the line: This went on until all in the group, heard something that was said:
After all those in that group got to say what they heard, it was the last person in line to tell out-loud what they heard:
Well, the end of the line was never anywhere close to what the gossip started out to be:
Well, this happens too much in our lives: We sit and listen to what this person said and what that person said or we listened to the news which was just repeating what they heard but the end result was nowhere close to the truth:
To many people are hurt due to this type of gossip: Before we believe what we hear, let’s pray and ask God to reveal the truth:
There are so many things being said on social media and TV and it all sounds true, but is it really?
This is why prayer is so important — If we pray before we believe the gossip, God will reveal what is true and not:
Let’s not speak or believe what we hear (including preachers and ministers, until we have spent time in prayer and hear the voice of God:
Remember: Jesus is Lord!
