“WE WERE NOT MADE TO BE ROBOTS!”
We are not robots just being told what to do and we walk around and say, yes that I will do, I will obey!
We are a new creation a creation that never has been before: God created us out of the dust of the ground and breathed in us his life:
If we were robots, all God would have to say --- Accept Jesus as your Savior and poof we would be saved:
If we were robots, everything he told us to do, we would say, “Your words are my Command!”
We would walk around back and forth just waiting to here another command, We would not have a heart or life inside of us, we would just do what he said to do:
How many of you grew up with a toy robot that was attached to a battery pack and all we did was press some buttons to make the robot work.
God is a God of love and do you know, you can’t love a robot and a robot cannot love you back:
God wanted fellowship and he needed human beings to get that fellowship: Did you ever try to fellowship with your toy robot? It didn’t work did it?
In order to fellowship with something, it needs to be just like you and have the same character and make up as you: With God, he made us alive by placing his spirit inside of us. This spirit is what causes us to be able to imitate God:
Adam had that spirit in him when he was created, but because of he chose to follow the wrong leader (the devil) he lost the right to receive the promises of God: He chose sin over righteousness: He chose bondage over freedom. He made Satan the God of this world we now live in:
God had to send his only Son (Jesus) to give us a choice to either make Jesus Lord or remain as Adam’s choice was which separated him from God:
If God created a robot, all he would have had to do was either speak to it or press a button for that robot to obey:
God in his love, gave us a choice and that choice is for us to decide: Now, which way did you choose? A life with God or a life of a robot?
Once you accept Jesus as Lord, you are just like the Father God because you were made in his image: You were made in his likeness:
You and Jesus are now related, you have all the rights that Jesus has! You say, then if I am like Jesus why do I get sick and still disobey or why am I not rich? Because we live in a fallen world, this world as satan made it at the fall of mankind still operates on this earth and we must overcome that by our words:
Words are very important and you must watch what you say: yes, you can have what you say, if you quit saying what you have: Example: I am so sick, I am so poor, I can’t do anything right! This is the worlds way, but Jesus came along and gave us life, healing and prosperity and how do we get these things to work? By believing in our hearts (spirits) and speaking it out of our mouths: This may take time for you have been speaking what you have instead of what he provided!
This all happens as you learn and accept what God has provided through Jesus and his word. The more word of God (Bible) you put into you, the more like him you will be:
You see, nothing is automatic, if it was, you would be a robot: No, it takes time to know and act like him. It takes time to be like Jesus:
Let’s look at ourselves as we grew up! When you were naturally born, did you get up the next day, put your own clothes on, pack your own lunch and go to work? No, your parents had to feed you, change your diaper, put you to bed, dress you and push you into a car seat to go anywhere: How old were you when you were able to get a license and drive a car? Did you do it the moment you came out of your Mother’s womb? No, you had to grow, and become knowledgeable before you could do anything like this, the word mature comes to mind:
In the realm of God, you must become mature in the things of God! When you become mature, you can drive God’s car as to speak, you can act like he does.
How many called for your Mother or Father the moment you came out of the womb? None – Why? It takes time:
As I said earlier, it takes time to get to know the heavenly Father’s ways of doing things: It will not happen overnight, why? Because we are not robots, we do not have buttons to be pushed or some type of power like a battery pack or electricity to make us work:
We must learn to act like God and use our mouth’s to be like him: If all humans acted like God, how wonderful would this world be?
1 Corinthians 4: 16 --- Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me:
God has set before us, death and life and said, you choose: God gave us a choice, what will you do with that choice? Will you lay around until someone pushes a button or will you start imitating God and speak things into existence by speaking God’s words (not your words) but his words, Not what you think he said, but his words:
To many times we just speak what we want without finding if it is God’s will or not: Or we say things that others say and expect it to work for us: No, you must believe it before it will change your life:
We must:
1) speak what God speaks
2) We must place them (his words) in our hearts (spirits)
3) We must believe that those things we speak will come to pass
4) We must act like the word works before we see it:
5) We must do what his word tells us to do
6) We must not look at the problem but must look at the answer which is the word of God:
Remember: YOU ARE NOT A ROBOT, BUT A NEW CREATION IN CHRIST!
REMEMBER: JESUS IS LORD!
