WHAT IS IN YOUR HEART?
Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh!
Mathew 12:34 --- O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh:
Mathew 12:35 --- A good man (mankind) out of the good treasures of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things:
Matthew 15: 18 --- But these things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man:
Matthew 15: 19 --- For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornication, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
Which person are you?
A) One who speaks evil?
B) One who speaks life and encouragement?
You might say, well, I am a Christian! I am born again! Why do I feel the way I do sometimes?
Well, we still live in a fleshly body and live in a world that not everyone (Christians included) are living the way the Bible tells us to live:
People make us mad, either cutting in front of you or come close to running you off of the road!
When these things happen, what is your immediate action?
A) Love from God in your heart?
B) Hate or dislike which is evil in your heart?
We cannot do anything about others who act or talk wrongly except to love them and pray for them:
You must realize that there is a devil that is trying his best to destroy you, your reputation and remove your love and make you look like his people:
We must make up our minds to speak love from our hearts: Pray for those who wrongly treat you:
I have been down this road myself and even still find myself doing the opposite of what the Bible says:
I find myself turning into a monster, a Mr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde! When this happens, I simply stop speaking those things, I ask God to forgive me, then I speak love over those who wronged me:
My flesh don’t want too, but I do it anyway: We must overcome evil with good:
Read Romans 12:9-18 “Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectionate one to another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another; Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.” As I said, earlier, we need to walk in love toward everyone: Walking in love toward those who wrong us, will keep us living in love and walking by faith:
Walking by faith is the will of God:
