ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH, BE IT UNTO YOU!
I am using scriptures out of Matthew 9:28&29. Jesus asked the question:
v.28 --- And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him; and Jesus saith unto them, “Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea Lord!
V29 --- Then he touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you:
This is where I want to start: Let’s read this again, and notice the words, according to your faith be it unto you:
It was according to their faith and will be according to your faith that any portion of the word will work for you:
You cannot get anything from God, without faith in his word! You can’t get anything from God based upon someone else’s faith:
You must build your own faith and mature it for you to receive anything from God: Jesus said to the blind men “according too your faith be it unto you!”
Faith starts out as a seed: Seeds are small and when you look at a seed, you cannot see a tomato, a pepper or a watermelon! All you see, is a seed! You must trust the maker of that seed to produce what it says it will produce:
You can look at that seed all day and all night, and it will never look like what the fruit of that seed should be:
You must: ·
Plant that seed!
· Water that seed!
· Cultivate that seed!
· Keep watering and cultivating that seed until it produces the fruit or harvest that it was created to produce:
Also, it will only produce what the seed was created to become:
A tomato seed will not grow apples!
A peach seed will not grow corn!
Each seed will produce after its own kind:
A peach seed will only produce peaches:
An apple seed will only produce apples:
Tomato seeds will only produce tomato’s:
It is the same in the word of God! Your seed will produce what you planted with your mouth and according to the seed you spoke it to be!
There are faith seeds for:
· Healing
· Salvation
· Wholeness
· Victory over sin
· Deliverance from drugs
· Deliverance from alcohol etc.
But these seeds must be planted in good soil: How do you plant faith seeds?
· By speaking them out of your mouth over and over until your heart (spirit) believes it:
Your mouth will:
· Cultivate the ground
· Plant the seed:
· Water the seed:
· Grow the seed:
· It will cause the seed to produce what you want it to produce, according to what you called it or said with your mouth! Your mouth is the reaper or threshing machine! It could also be the thrashing machine! Think about that!
Your mouth is the cultivator; planter; waterer; reaper: In other words, as you keep speaking from your mouth, you will produce what is in your heart rather, positive or negative.
What are you speaking? Doubt and unbelief? Or faith built upon the word of God?
I also want to say this, It does not matter what Johnny next door received or didn’t receive that builds your faith and grow your seed, it is what you say that will grow the seed:
Another point: You can use your mouth to name that seed: You must name the seed to be what you want it to be:
Your seed might need to be named:
· Healing
· Prosperity
· Salvation
· Victory over sin
· Victory over bad habits
Whatever the seed of faith is named, needs to be in your mouth and your mouth must call it:
Look at Matthew 9:28 & 29 --- What was the seed called by the blind men? Answer: Oh, that I might see!
You see, they had to;
· hear about Jesus
· They had to say what the seed would be
Then they received what it was they asked for and that was that they could see:
You must keep speaking the word out of your mouth in order for it to be produce the fruit you want it to be:
You must keep speaking the word out of your mouth in order for the mountain (whatever it may be --- debt; drugs; etc.) to be removed:
Notice in this story, once they answered Jesus’ question, he said “according to your faith (not his) be it unto you!”
No matter how long or what the circumstances may look like in the natural, keep speaking God’s word and what you are believing for, will come to pass:
Keep the faith up and moving: Don’t let negative talk stop it: You can be an over comer:
Notice also, that nowhere in the word of God, did Jesus say “According to my faith” no it is according to your faith:
· My faith will work for me!
· Your faith will work for you!
Plant the seed!
